FCC chairman Brendan Carr, in his in-your-face partisanship continues to overtly push his henchmen (and henchwomen) in the corporate media to silence voices critical of the current regime. Coercing CBS bosses to pull Stephen Colbert’s Monday night interview with a Texas congressman running for Senate. This is very very alarming to those of us who hold FCC licenses. What’s next? Will they threaten to pull our licenses if we don’t stop playing Steve Earle or Jesse Wells? If they thought we had an audience large enough that mattered, there is a little doubt that they would.
