The Jiveradio network’s main data link is barely a few miles north of the currently burning “Barnes” wildfire in Modoc County. Ignited by lightning wednesday, it was 1000 acres thurday, 3000 thursday and near 6000 today with no containment. The link carries data/audio for Jive stations KDUP, KVYA (Surprise Valley, CA) and KDAN (Marshall, CA). Audio disruptions may occur. Our neighbors in Fort Bidwell are packed and ready to run, while our next door neighbors are driving their cattle out of Fandango Valley. At this writing winds are incredibly, and thankfully, very calm.
