radio on radio?

Well, here’s something that is sure to bore most of you: a radio interview with two radio people on…radio! [snore] It’s with me, ‘Jeff The Radio Guy’, and Amanda Eichstaedt (KWMR GM & Morning Host) and aired this Wednesday in Point Reyes Station, a hip little hamlet on the Cali coast near where we recently launched our little ten watter (KXCF 91.5FM) serving the oyster-centric towns of Marshall, Marconi, & Inverness. Marshall who?? Dillon?

No…it’s Marshall, CALIFORNIA. Not a guy, but a town. [Dillon Beach is just up the road though.] A small town for sure, but better oysters are not found anywhere. In any case, the mighty JiveRadio network has expanded its massive footprint to cover Marshall and even the west shore of Tomales Bay which includes the original Bohemian enclave of Inverness on 91.5FM. R.I.P.: The Prince of 4th Street (Reno, NV)

Only 3 weeks after his mother Inez passed (see a few posts below), our brother from another mother and all-in-all, the best bartender we’ve ever known, Tony Stempeck died of complications from COVID today. A wit as fast as any comedian alive or dead, Tony was a flat-out kingpin. A cornerstone. We are seriously rocked by this loss.  More soon.

The one on the right, now known as ‘curly’ is our own Frank Stanton (who does ID’s and voice work for us) a stellar Boss Jock (at the mighty KFH Witchita) back in the day. Told you it was hard!
