so FLOTUS melania floats on into McAllen Texas, ostensibly to bring some standard First Lady comfort to the bewildered and frightened and freaked out kids being held while separated from their parents.  ok, fine.  she’s there to at least look like she cares.  she’s supposedly there as an ambassador of CARING.

kirsten neilsen is the witch who heads the Department of Homeland Security.  Alex Azar is the buffoon who heads the Department of Health and Human Services. jeff magoo is the attorney general.  and of course, donald f. buttboil is the president.  together, this quartet is executing what is, for all intents and purposes, a mass kidnapping of immigrant children. at this time, these four super twits have separated at least 2,300 children from their parents, and they collectively have no idea whatsoever as to how to get these people back together.  and how to fix this mess.

this is malevolent incompetence in action.  resulting in the only thing trump can produce–sadopopulism.  a government that inflicts fear and pain upon its populace.  and also strafes the countryside with a non stop barrage of lies.  lie after lie after lie after lie.

The result is nothing less than an Abomination. An Abomination with a capital A.

if you don’t like us being political, that’s fine.  we understand.  do what you must.  it’s a free country.  but understand this.  we come from a background of FM radio that was not afraid of leftist politics.  Stations that called out Nixon for the raging jerk that he was.  stations like KSAN, KMPX, KOME, KFAT, WBCN, WXRT, WNEW, and all the others.  and holy guacamole, this orange asshole with the creepy hairdo makes Nixon look like Thomas Effing Jefferson. so we aren’t going to be mute.  we aren’t gonna be Swiss.  we ain’t neutral.  ok?  got it?

and goddammit…..this evil bullshit would NOT be happening if Hilary Clinton was the president.

we want to note the passing of the great Danny Kirwan, who was one of Fleetwood Mac’s guitarists and songwriters from 1969 to 1972. Danny made major contributions to some of the all time great Mac albums, including Then Play On, Bare Trees, Kiln House, and Future Games.

a tribute show is quite possible!  the guy made some wonderful music.  stay tuned!

he died after a life of poor health, exacerbated by lots of drinking.  finally, the angel of pneumonia ended his life on June 8th.  Kirwan was 68.

every once in a while, we like to remind our listeners of the app called Shazam, which is extremely helpful for our modern (or low budget) approach to broadcasting.  Shazam is free, downloads in 1-2 minutes, and works nicely in identifying songs and artists. once you have Shazam in your phone/device, all you do is……when you hear a song/artist you’d like identified, just hold the phone up to the speaker, and within a few seconds, you will see artist, song title, and maybe even the album/CD cover.  it’s quite nifty and will add to your pleasure when listening to the swinging super-eclectic sounds of Jive Radio.

last night, during the Tony Awards program televised on CBS, acting legend Robert DeNiro came on stage to introduce a performance by Bruce Springsteen.  DeNiro began by saying, “Fuck Trump. It’s no longer down with Trump. It’s Fuck Trump.”

DeNiro received a standing ovation from the crowd, which was nice. He then continued with his intro of Springsteen, “In these perilous times, you rock the vote, always fighting for truth, transparency and integrity in government. Boy, do we need that now!”

Fuck Trump indeed. will bumper stickers, t-shirts, and hats soon follow?
