Gary Joe Wade, legendary Reno, Nevada singer/songwriter/guitar player, has released his first new music in over 20 years!
Written in 1998 as a wry look at privilege by Gary Joe’s longtime bandmate in The Lelands, drummer Dave Sturtz, somehow it seems to have surprising relevance today.

A found KJIV seed ticket

The girls working up on JiveRadio’s 5th Floor Archives Division found this piece of detritus under some dirty ashtrays and old PopSecret bags. It’s a ticket (circa ’95) for a benefit concert to build our first radio station, originally KAVA-FM, later to become KJIV (first of Reno, then of Madras, OR). It was a great show and we didn’t have to tell anybody to SHUT UP.
