i was chatting with a listener recently who was a bit frustrated. she likes a lot of our programming, sure, but was crabby because songs that she liked weren’t identified. yes, this can be a pitfall with our notorious low budget operation, BUT……this is exactly why we love SHAZAM. this nifty app can really be helpful in the song/artist identification realm. it’s free, it downloads very quickly, and, more importantly, IT WORKS. really helpful for expanded appreciation of Jive Radio! so if you don’t have it on your phone…….get widdit!

(2) click on BVD (3) there on bruce’s page, you’ll find…..the GE of that week. go ahead and party with it! it’s there for you if you want it at 830 in the morning or 830 at night. you screeched, and we heard!

It seems our near-40 year old KJYV transmitter is choking badly and may require replacement. Our crack technical crew is working on it. It may be mid-week before we return to air. Our stream and apps are working in the meantime.
